Who Gives A Crap was started when the founders discovered roughly 40% of the global population doesn't have access to toilets and around 289,000 children under five die every year from diarrheal diseases caused by poor water and sanitation. That just didn't sit well. So, they launched Who Gives A Crap with the intention of donating 50% of all profits from their toilet paper sales to help build toilets because they believe access to a safe, dignified loo is a basic human right. Who Gives A Crap has donated over $5.7 million to help provide proper sanitation for over 2 billion people in need. They are a Certified B-Corp and are completely plastic-free.
Who Gives A Crap met 7 of 10 of The Conscious Buyer ranking criteria.
