Allbirds created an entirely new category of shoes inspired by natural materials and a mantra to create better things in a better way. They are dedicated to reducing their carbon footprint through carbon offsetting. The majority of their footprint lies in our raw materials, so they continue to source low carbon materials, like the Tencel used in their Tree shoes. They also maximize ocean shipping rather than air shipping, increase energy efficiency, and purchase renewable energy, like we do in their San Francisco headquarters. They are a certified B-Corp, use recycled packaging, and donate to Soles4Soles.
