In 1981, Rhino Foods began as a small ice cream shop, Chessy’s Frozen Custard. The founders, Ted and Anne Castle, continue to own and operate the business out of Burlington, Vermont, employing over 130 people. From the beginning, Ted’s desire to own a company that develops its employees, has a positive impact on the community, and shares innovative workplace practices has set the course of growth and culture with sustainability as an integral part.
